Multipurpose Sports Hall Polárka in Frýdek-Místek

Hala Polárka is a modern sports hall located within a multifunctional complex in Frýdek-Místek.

It offers a wide range of sports activities, including winter ice skating and summer ball sports, and also serves as a venue for cultural events.

Hala Polárka is a multipurpose sports hall situated in the city of Frýdek-Místek in the Moravian-Silesian Region. It was built in 2014 as a replacement for the original VSH Frýdek-Místek hall. During the winter months, Hala Polárka functions as an ice rink for hockey players, figure skaters, and public ice skating. In the summer months, it provides space for various ball sports.

In addition to sports activities, Hala Polárka hosts concerts and other cultural events. Two opposing stands, including skyboxes, offer a total of 2,060 seats, with standing room for an additional 396 people. Hala Polárka is part of a complex of facilities operated by SPORTPLEX, which is responsible for its operation and management.

Access to the hall is possible through two entrances equipped with a total of 10 high-capacity turnstiles. These allow entry using RFID identifiers for SPORTPLEX members, as well as for one-time visitors. To facilitate the smooth admission of visitors to cultural events, the hall’s system is integrated with ticketing systems of external vendors for cultural and sports events. This means that tickets sold through these third parties can be accepted.
